Statement of faith

The Scriptures
The Bible, both Old and New Testaments are the true and inspired Word of God. The Bible is completely reliable and with no errors or contradictions. In it we find the complete revelation of God's will for the salvation of all people and is the final authority for all Christian faith and life.

GOD
There is one God, infinitely perfect existing eternally in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father, who is the creator of all things. As loving Father, He not only made us, but continues to provide for our earthly and eternal needs.

JESUS
The Lord Jesus Christ, who is true God and true man. We believe He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the VIrgin Mary. He came as the perfect "Go-between" between God and humanity. He lived perfectly under God's Law, and therefore, took upon Himself our sins and the punishment of those sins in His sacrifice on the cross, in order to restore us into a right and close relationship with our Father. Further, He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven where He reigns with all authority at the right hand of God. There He intercedes for us as our High Priest and advocate. We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and that this confident hope brings strength, purpose, and peace into our lives as we live each day to serve Him and others in love.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit, who has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ Jesus and to apply the saving work of Christ to all. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ and imparts new life to them as they are born again into a saving faith and seals them as God's own children until the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit continues to indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for Godly living and service.

The HUMAN CONDITION
Man and woman were created in the image of God. However, through their own free will and weakness, they fell to temptation and sinned, breaking the perfect relationship between God and people. Therefore, we believe that all people everywhere are born into original sin, are lost, and face the judgement of God

SALVATION
Yet God is a loving Father, whose will is not for us to live in eternal punishment apart from Him. That's why He sent His son Jesus Christ, who took our sins upon Himself and died on the cross on our behalf. Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and for that salvation, repentance of sins and faith in Jesus Christ results in reconciliation and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

The Church
The true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head. We believe that God has given the Church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude from every nation who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

ETERNAL DESTINY
In the bodily resurrection of the dead of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved will have resurrection into glorious eternal life in Heaven, and the lost into the resurrection of judgement and everlasting punishment in hell.
