History
Kingdom Advisors traces its origins to 1997, when Larry Burkett, cofounder of Crown Financial Ministries, assembled 16 colleagues committed to biblically wise financial advice to form the Christian Financial Planning Institute (CFPI). In 2003, the group advanced its vision by creating a new organization designed to support the Christian financial professional community. Initially launched as the Christian Financial Professionals Network (CFPN) under the leadership of Ron Blue, the organization grew steadily and was renamed Kingdom Advisors in 2007.
Today, under the leadership of Rob West, CEO, and Sharon Epps, President, Kingdom Advisors is a thriving member association of Christian financial professionals committed to faith-aligned planning and investment advice. We grant the Certified Kingdom Advisor® designation and uphold it as the standard of excellence for the advancement of biblical financial advice.
In 2017, we launched our consumer ministry, FaithFi (formerly MoneyWise), to help Christians develop a biblical worldview of money and connect with a Certified Kingdom Advisor® trained to help them align faith and financial decisions.
Program accomplishments
FaithFi equips Christians with tools and resources to integrate faith and financial decisions for the glory of God. The nationally syndicated daily radio show Faith & Finance with Rob West airs on 1,900 radio stations and reaches 1.5 million listeners weekly. FaithFi releases a new issue of the Faithful Steward magazine every quarter and publishes two new books, devotionals, or resources every year. The FaithFi budgeting app now has over 70,000 users and is the only app that brings together Christian faith, smart financial tools, and guided reflection.
FaithFi continues to drive consumer demand and recognition for the CKA® designation. 80,000 Christians now search for a Certified Kingdom Advisor® through our online directory each year.
