Summary

We believe discipleship is the way Jesus said the world will change.

Life-on-life. Coffee dates. In living rooms. In local churches, studying God's Word together. Making disciples who make disciples. The reason we gather is because we actually want to live out what we say we believe! We want to come together as a generation to live out what He has called us to do.

We gather, because we need each other. We equip, because we need to understand who God is, and we unleash you to your places because you are the most effective way to spread the message and hope of Jesus Christ.

There will be a day when we are together in heaven and we're looking back at the work we did together, and IF:Gathering is about this dream that we could make the very most of the time that we had to build the kingdom of God.

Purpose

Every gathering and tool that has been built since is created with that purpose in mind-equipping women and serving the church with opportunities and resources to go and make disciples.

Mission statement

We exist to equip women with gospel-centered resources, events, and community so they may learn more about who God is and disciple other women right where they are.

Statement of faith

In response to great division and theological disputes in the first three centuries of the church, a council formed to bring unity and agreement over the most essential doctrines of Christianity. One of the creeds that has stood the test of time is the Nicene Creed. This creed became a guiding statement of faith for the Church. We now find ourselves divided over many, many things - and yet about the most important things we whole-heartedly agree.

History

INSPIRED BY THE QUESTION "IF GOD IS REAL... THEN WHAT?"
IF:Gathering publicly launched the first gathering in 2014. At the event, women were reminded that because God is indeed who He says He is we in turn have a job to do on Earth: tell others about Him.

TODAY, IF:GATHERING IS NOT ONLY AN EVENT but a discipleship ministry focused on putting tools and resources in the hands of women in the church. Through these, IF is able to empower women to reclaim discipleship as God's means to change the world.

Program accomplishments

In eight years, through technology, our events, and our tools, we have reached more than one million women in 179 countries and we have a grand desire to see an entire generation discipled and unleashed to then go and make more disciples of Jesus. We believe with God it's possible.
