Summary
Mount Zion Baptist World Mission is a ministry focused on preaching the gospel to every creature throughout the world through all possible means; without leaving the biblical and doctrinal context of salvation (salvation by grace and faith in Jesus). For this reason, we understand that the expansion of the gospel in this world full of darkness was and is a responsibility of every believer, remembering the commandment given by our Savior (Matthew 28:16-20).

Purpose
Mission statement
Mount Zion Baptist World Missions engages in church building all over North and South America as well as purchasing buses for children, elderly, and the underprivileged to ride to church. The organization also purchases food baskets to distribute to families that cannot afford to eat.
Statement of faith
The Bible
We believe that the 66 books of the Old Testament are verbally inspired by GOD and have been preserved in the Spanish language through the Reina Valera 1960 version, which is the supreme and final authority of faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Peter 1:19-21 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation of things.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Word, and Holy Spirit, equal in essence and yet distinct in personality and function.
Exodus 20:2-3 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me.
Matthew 28:18 Jesus says: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
1 Corinthians 8:6 Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
The creation
We believe in the direct creation of the universe by God, according to the Genesis account, without the use of pre-existing material and apart from any process of evolution.
Genesis 1:1-31 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth...
Exodus 20:11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
Colossians 1:16-17 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers-all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Hebrews 11:13 All these people died in faith, without having received the things promised, but having seen them and welcomed them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Savior of humanity. We believe that Jesus Christ is eternally God and possesses all the attributes of Deity. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin through a miracle of the Holy Spirit, that He is God incarnate, and that the purpose of the incarnation was to reveal God in order to redeem humanity and reign over the Kingdom of God. We believe that Jesus Christ never relinquished any of His attributes of Deity, but simply retained them. We believe that He lived a perfect, sinless life and that at the end of it, He offered it for humanity as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of humankind. This sacrifice was the just payment to God for the forgiveness of sin. This forgiveness was effected by His death through the shedding of His blood on the Cross and was accepted by God after His resurrection.
John 1:1-14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
Luke 1:35 The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God."
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,
The death of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died as a substitutionary sacrifice for all mankind. The atonement by blood that He made was unlimited in its potential. It is limited only in its application, effectively saving those who are brought by the Holy Spirit to repentance and faith.
Isaiah 53:4-11 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted...
2 Corinthians 5:14-21 ...God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
1 John 2:1-2 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father-Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them-bringing swift destruction on themselves.
1 Timothy 4:10 For this reason we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
The resurrection of Christ
We believe in the resurrection of our Lord's crucified body, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there as High Priest and Advocate. We believe that He ascended into heaven after His resurrection to be seated at the right hand of the Father, awaiting the time to receive His church in the Rapture and return after seven years to earth to rule and lead His 1,000-year reign.

Hebrews 4:14-16 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
