Mission statement
Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus and create sustainable solutions in education, enterprise, health, and agriculture that holistically address poverty in rural, underserved communities.
Statement of faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit(Matthew 28:19).
3. We believe in:
-- the full deity and full humanity of Christ (John 1:1-14; Hebrews 1:3-5, 2:5-18),
-- His virgin birth (Luke 1:26-38),
-- His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15),
-- His miracles (John 10:31-38),
-- His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 2:24),
-- His bodily resurrection (John 20:1-31; Acts 1:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8),
-- His ascension to the right Hand of the Father (Acts 1:4-11),
-- His present rule as Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22, 5:23; Colossians 1:18), and
-- His personal return in power and glory (Revelation 19:11-16; 22:7-21).
4. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).
5. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of all who are separated from God by sin and rebellion (John 14:15-21; Romans 8:1-11; 1 Corinthians 12:3).
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are lost unto damnation
(Matthew 25:41-46), and they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life (Matthew 25:31-40; 1 Corinthians 15:42-57).
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across races, genders, and classes (Colossians 3:11).
We believe in the Christian faith and witness as stated in one of the earliest Christian expressions of faith, the Nicene Creed:
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father; God from God,
Light from Light, true God from true God; begotten not made, one being with the Father. Through Him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven. By the power of the Holy Spirit
He was born of the Virgin Mary and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate. He suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day He rose again, in fulfillment of the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one, holy, universal, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

History
After a summer together in East Africa, Andrew & Henry were inspired to build a global community passionate about empowering Ugandans to create comprehensive, holistic, and lasting change to the most underserved communities of Uganda.
In 2015, after months spent together in East Africa, Henry Iwumbwe and Andrew DeVaney developed a deep bond around their shared heart for God's people, a commitment to the demonstration and proclamation of the Gospel, and a desire to bring lasting change to the rural and hardest to serve communities in Uganda.
Out of their relationship, a desire to live John 17:21, a commitment to God's heart for the lost and the least, and our duty to do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with God - the work of AsOne began.
