Purpose
The Mission offers immediate help for individuals and families from our community who are struggling to make ends meet. We offer a 9-month Solid Ground - Life Equipping Program and transitional housing to break the cycle of homelessness, poverty and destructive lifestyles.
And we help men rebuild their lives with Christ's love as their foundation. The message of hope we share is for everyone!

Since 1950, Union Rescue Mission Wichita has worked to offer men experiencing homelessness and the associated challenges, restoration through Christ. Our services and programs help them find healing.

30+ meals served each day to those in immediate need
170+ stays in our shelter & transitional housing each day
Rescue, recovery & restoration lead to re-engagement & stability
Provides vocational training & experience plus additional revenue streams
180+ food boxes each month plus diapers & formula for those struggling
