Summary
Wingfield Ministries is an interdenominational ministry dedicated to reaching the world for Jesus Christ through evangelistic encounters and crusades both domestically and in foreign countries. Wingfield Ministries has a sincere burden for the body of Christ, the Church. Wingfield Ministries believe that God's purpose for the ministry is to assist the local community of faith by coming along side what they are already doing and helping them with the work of evangelism, primarily through an Encounter. Steve and Barbara Wingfield formed the ministry in 1987 when they answered the call to full-time evangelism.

Purpose
Through the years, the ministry has focused on winning souls for Christ through encounters, crusades, festivals, galas, Victory Weekend events, and through its most recent endeavors: Lodestar Guidance, Lodestar Mountain Inn, and Resiliency Among Warriors (R.A.W.). Steve receives countless invitations to host evangelistic events, both in the US and abroad and is in continual prayer for God's direction.
At the heart of this ministry is a desire to see unbelievers reconciled in relationship with Christ and for believers to be renewed in their faith and strengthened to continue fighting the good fight. The focus has remained centered on evangelism, using every available means to reach every available person. We are grateful for the position God has placed us in and His overwhelming provision to answer the call.
Mission statement
Wingfield Ministries is committed to the calling of The Great Commission. Through evangelism and discipleship, our greatest purpose is to restore and equip people with the good news of Jesus Christ as the truest example of God's never-ceasing love.
We are dedicated to teaching and sharing truths found in God's Holy Scriptures, inviting others to establish a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, helping people understand their salvation by grace through faith, and encouraging continued growth in their walks.
We are called to fulfill God's purpose for our individual lives with our time and talents. Using these gifts given to us by the Lord, Wingfield Ministries staff are resolute in the importance of encouraging people to persevere in their faith and deepen their commitment to Jesus.
Statement of faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return to earth in power and glory.
We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely essential.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost - they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

History
In 1970, Steve Wingfield began to receive invitations to hold area-wide evangelistic meetings. Even while pastoring, he conducted two or three area-wide interdenomiational meetings each year. In 1983, after much prayer and counsel from many people, Steve and his wife Barbara answered God's call to full-time evangelism, thus giving birth to the present ministry. Steve had previously worked with Inter-Church, Inc. on crusades as a minister. Much of the ministry has been modeled after the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Wingfield Ministries is currently focused on our calling to reach the men, women, and young people who attend NASCAR races around the country. Through Victory Weekend, we are able to set up our mobile platform to entertain and inspire our fans with music that they love, share life-changing testimonies from NASCAR drivers, and deliver powerful messages from Steve Wingfield and others.
Wingfield Ministries is expanding its ministry outreach by including the Lodestar Mountain Inn. The inn will be a refuge for church leaders, youth groups, and dedicated business leaders to hold meetings, seminars, and retreats in a beautiful, natural setting and at a well-appointed and professional facility. Spending time outdoors at this restful refuge nurtures relaxation and refreshment for guests.
The newest addition to outreach, Lodestar Guidance, is an innovative program designed to teach key character principles to businesses, churches, and families. It highlights 48 principles, such as accountability, trustworthiness, sincerity, and integrity, to teach participants how to live and lead effectively.
