History
President and Founder Martin Mawyer is the founder and president of Christian Action Network (CAN), a nonprofit organization he launched in 1990 to defend America's Judeo-Christian heritage and expose threats to faith, family, and freedom. For more than three decades, Mawyer has been a leading voice in the pro-family movement, using investigative journalism, documentary filmmaking, and national advocacy campaigns to awaken Americans to the moral and cultural challenges facing the nation. Before founding CAN, Mawyer served as the Editor of Jerry Falwell's Moral Majority Report during the height of the Moral Majority movement in the 1980s. His work there helped shape national conversations on religious liberty and traditional values. Since then, he has written and produced numerous investigative documentaries, including Stolen Rainbow: The Great Unmasking, which exposes the hidden agenda of the LGBTQ movement, and When Evil Stops Hiding, a book exploring the rise of spiritual and ideological extremism in modern America. Mawyer is also the host of the "Shout Out Patriots" podcast and publisher of the "Majority Report" Substack, where he offers commentary on culture, politics, and faith from a conservative Christian perspective. His projects have been featured on national television and cited across multiple media platforms, earning him recognition as one of the longest-serving and most steadfast defenders of Christian values in America today.
