Summary
Renewal Mission is a ministry organization that spreads the gospel of Christ and helps believers grow. It was produced during a retreat held by a Chinese believer in the Midwest of the United States during the Thanksgiving weekend of 1971. At that time, everyone felt that there were very few spiritual books in Chinese, and what good books were there in the English publishing industry? Therefore, I am willing to make a concerted effort to translate some spiritual books into Chinese, so I named this organization "China Christian Translation Center". Since January 1986, the name was changed to "Renewal Missionary Society" due to the addition of co-workers and in order to cooperate with various aspects of service.

Purpose
Our vision is to use various channels and media so that our ministry can help Chinese believers grow in the Lord, renew their spiritual life, and then help the church renew.
There are four divisions in the Renewal Missionary Society's work. The first department is the writing work, including: making commentary Bibles such as the New International Chinese Version Study Bible, the Seeking Bible, etc.; issuing the "Renewal Monthly" which is given 10 times a year; Spiritual books; making disciple training materials, adult Sunday school materials and Bible study materials, etc.
The second department is evangelism and service, including: pulpit supply, discipleship training (discipleship training to provide "Saints Equipment" and cultivation training for "Abundant Life", etc.), reading management and updating pulpit tapes, etc.
The third department is mission work. Since 1993, it has been engaged in mission work in northern Myanmar and Outer Mongolia, and now it has expanded to Thailand and other pioneering areas. Our mission strategy starts with evangelism, and the ultimate goal is to help these saved people. Through updated teaching materials and personal training, their spiritual life will grow, and at the same time, they will lead to the spiritual revival of our church and establish a missionary entrustment. church. With more than 20 years of experience in success and failure, we have served from ethnic minorities in remote areas to intellectuals in metropolitan cities, and served ethnic groups all over Thailand, Myanmar and Chuangqi regions.
The fourth department is the Renewal Institute. Since June 2000, Renewal has officially cooperated with Columbia International University Theological Institute (CIU) in South Carolina, USA, to equip the believers who are seeking, provide physical and long-distance theological courses to help students Learn and serve the Lord more effectively. So far, nearly 1,000 people have attended the courses of the Renewal Academy, and at least 20 students have entered CIU afterwards, completed their theological degrees, and are currently serving the Lord in different positions.
Renewal Mission is headquartered in the United States, with branches in Taiwan and Singapore. There are more than 30 renewing co-workers around the world, including co-workers in local branches and mission workshops.
Mission statement
By preaching and analyzing God's words, let God's children understand the meaning of life and God's will for them, so as to renew and reform their lives.
Our motto is "Renewal of believers, renewal of the church".
Statement of faith
1. We believe that the entire Bible is a complete and unerring revelation of God and the highest authority in our faith and life.
2. We believe in the one true God of the Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have the same honor and glory.
3. Man is created by God. Everyone who fell into a sinner in Adam needs God's salvation. Repentant sinners rely on God's grace to be reborn, and are justified by faith in Jesus Christ, and receive the promised eternal life.
4. Jesus Christ is a perfect God and a perfect man, born of the virgin Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit. He died on the cross, shed blood for atonement, rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to heaven, in God the Father Intercession for all the saints on the right.
5. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Triune God. The work of the Holy Spirit is to convict and regenerate people, lead us into various truths, and empower people to live a holy life and bear witness to the Lord.
6. The repentant believer who turns to God has a new life separated from sin. He wants to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit, live out the glory of Christ, and preach the Lord's gospel.
7. Jesus will personally return according to His promise to judge the living and the dead.

History
CRM started out in 1971 as the Christian Chinese Translation Center with main emphasis in translating Christian literature into Chinese. Over the years, services were expanded into other areas. To reflect this broadening scope of ministry, the present name was adopted in January 1986.
In December 1987, an independent CRM Board was established in Taiwan to promote CRM ministries on that populous island. And in January 1988, a CRM branch office opened in Hong Kong. During 1992 a CRM branch was opened in Singapore, in 1996 a branch opened in Malaysia.
