History
Founded in 1995, West Dallas Community School is committed to providing a private Christian education for the children of West Dallas - one of the most economically, socially and academically challenged neighborhoods in the country. We are dedicated to the development of the whole child with special attention to the intellectual, spiritual, moral and physical well-being of each one of our students.
When we opened our doors 25 years ago, we welcomed twenty students. Today, we provide a comprehensive curriculum to more than 250 students from Pre-K through 8th grade. We are proud to report that our students go on to attend local private and public high schools. We boast a 96 percent high school graduation rate, and 81 percent of our graduates attend college. These numbers will only increase as WDCS students currently attending high school graduate and continue to nurture the educational foundation developed here.
