Mission statement

Statement of faith
At Lou Engle Ministries, we are committed to the uncompromising truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives, communities, and nations. Our faith is rooted in Scripture, fueled by prayer and fasting, and expressed through bold obedience to the call of God.
The Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in one eternal God, revealed in three persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- The Father is Creator and Sustainer of all things, holy and loving, just and merciful.
- Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven. He is the only way to salvation.
- The Holy Spirit empowers believers for holy living, spiritual gifts, and bold witness. He convicts, comforts, teaches, and leads the Church into truth and power.
The Gifts of the Spirit
We affirm that the gifts of the Holy Spirit-such as prophecy, healing, tongues, interpretation, discernment, miracles, and words of knowledge-are active and vital in the Church today.
- These gifts are given for the edification of the Body of Christ and the advancement of the Kingdom.
- We encourage believers to earnestly desire spiritual gifts and to operate in them with humility, accountability, and love (1 Corinthians 12-14).
Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.
- Baptism symbolizes the believer's death to sin, burial with Christ, and resurrection to new life.
- It is an act of obedience and a prophetic sign of transformation and consecration.
Communion
We celebrate the Lord's Supper as a sacred remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.
- The bread and cup represent His body and blood, broken and poured out for our redemption.
- Communion is a time of reflection, unity, and renewal, proclaiming the Lord's death until He comes again (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
Healing: Spiritual and Physical
We believe that healing is part of the atonement and available to all through faith in Jesus.
- God heals spiritually by forgiving sin and restoring relationship.
- He heals physically through prayer, faith, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
- We contend for healing in our gatherings, intercession, and outreach, trusting God's sovereignty and goodness.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, our final authority in faith and practice.
- It reveals God's heart, His plan of redemption, and His call to holiness and mission.
- We are committed to living according to Scripture, empowered by grace and truth.
The Mission of the Church
We believe the Church is called to be a house of prayer for all nations, a voice for righteousness, and a vessel of revival.
- We are commissioned to preach the Gospel, make disciples, and contend for spiritual awakening.
- Through fasting, prayer, and prophetic action, we partner with heaven to see God's purposes fulfilled on earth

History
For the past twenty-two years, Lou Engle has been an international voice calling a generation to Nazirite consecration, fasting and prayer, and the pursuit of God's dreams for their lives through the ministry of TheCall.
For the past sixteen years, Lou Engle has raised up prayer movements, has been a voice for the shifting of the supreme court for ending abortion, and has encouraged a movement of adoption to be the answer for the great injustice.
Now, Lou Engle is prophetically declaring that we are on the verge of the 3rd great awakening, and Jesus the evangelist will be manifested in great salvation and deliverance power. A mighty Jesus movement is coming to America, Billy Graham's mantle is falling on a new generation of evangelists, and streets and stadiums will be filled with a new song of God's salvation.
