Purpose
Project42 is dedicated to changing the future by collaborating with exceptional frontline workers and organizations operating within unreached people groups. Our critical focus areas include missionary mobilization, scripture translation, church planting, creative access (business as mission), compassion, and awareness.
Mission statement
The vision and mission of Project42 is a response to the unequal distribution of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With only 3% of missionaries committed to serving this 42%, and less than 1% of church resources being directed towards reaching those still waiting, Project42 is a call to action, to churches and leaders, for the 42% of the global population who lack access to the gospel - no church, no Bible, no missionary, no access.

History
The idea that 42% of the world has never heard that Jesus loves them is unacceptable. Unsure what more could be done or what they personally could do, Justin and Tara Mack decided to gather 42 of their closest friends and leaders in the fall of 2018, with the laser focus of raising awareness and resources for the 42% that have yet to hear about Jesus. At this small gathering, $420,000 was pledged, given to dozens of Frontline partners serving the unreached and the vision and mission of Project42 was birthed. Each year since, a growing number of leaders gather annually and now millions are being given to help hundreds of frontline partners serving the unreached.
Justin and Tara Mack live in Minnesota with their three children, Amelia, William, and Savanna. Justin and Tara have traveled to over 50 countries, while serving as missions pastor at River Valley Church for nearly two decades. Justin has a Master's degree in Global Studies from Fuller Seminary and Tara has a Political Science and International Relations Degree from the University of Minnesota.
Together, it is their great ambition to see Jesus glorified by the remaining 7,000+ people groups that have yet to worship the one who have given them everything.
