Purpose
Families today face a multitude of stressors and challenges that can sometimes be overwhelming. ABCS ministries are focused on providing practical help to meet those needs. Our goal is to share the love of Christ with each person we come in contact with as evangelism is the common thread of our ministries.
Mission statement
Provide hope and care to hurting children and families through Christ-centered ministries.
Statement of faith
We believe in one God, Creator and Lord of the universe, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that the Bible is God's authoritative and inspired Word. It is without error in its entirety, including its teachings and creation, history, its own origins and salvation. Christians must submit to its divine authority in all matters of belief and conduct.
We believe that all people are lost sinners and cannot see the Kingdom of God except through the new birth. Justification is by grace through faith in Christ alone.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a Godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and, therefore all true believers are members of the body of Christ.
We believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the Church and each Christian.
More about Arizona Baptist Children's Services & Family Ministries:
ABCS is an evangelical Christian organization that ministers to the physical, social, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of children, families and individuals.
We value people because every person is created in the image of God and is of infinite worth to God. Every human life is significant in all stages, including the unborn, the aged, the mentally challenged, the physically challenged and every other condition from conception to grave.
We believe healthy families are the best place for children, and seek to strengthen families as well as address the needs of children, teens and adults when families are broken and unhealthy.
We strive to staff every leadership and associate position with qualified candidates who share our Statement of Faith and commit to our Core Values.
We value our historic partnership with Arizona Southern Baptists and will continue to cooperate with them in the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We partner with individuals, evangelical Christian churches, foundations and government agencies to accomplish our mission, without compromising our Statement of Faith and Core Values.
