Purpose
TRIAD's mission is to mobilize the global body of Christ. We have left behind the notion that missionaries from Western nations are exclusively charged with taking the gospel to its final frontiers. Instead, we believe the gospel will come from everywhere to reach everyone. We are training and deploying mission-minded people from places all over the globe to reach those who have not heard. Our training pipeline is full of Indians, Armenians, Middle Easterners, Westerners, and more. It will take all of us to complete the Great Commission.
Mission statement
Our mission is to advance the gospel among the hardest-to-reach places and people groups. We exist to glorify the King. All our efforts can be traced back to seeing Jesus receive the glory he is due. We are committed to seeing the completion of Revelation 7:9, that says, "I saw a great multitude before the throne from every nation, tribe, people, and language." John Piper once said, "Missions exists because worship doesn't." So that's where we're headed-to nations that consider themselves closed to the worship of Jesus, tribes that have never even heard his name, languages in which his praise has never been sung. We are unapologetic in our pursuit of the unreached-those who have never heard the gospel.
Statement of faith
We are an interdenominational, international group of Christ followers living on mission for the glory of God. We are rooted in the historic confession of the Church, holding tightly to the core convictions that have defined Christianity for centuries, while also valuing freedom of convictions surrounding second-order doctrinal beliefs. The statements below reflect our foundation on first-order doctrinal beliefs.
We believe in the one true and living God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three equally divine persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired, inerrant, sufficient, authoritative Word of God.
We believe the Triune God created male and female in his image to be in relationship with him and to represent him on earth.
We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Because of the original disobedience of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3, all of humanity has been alienated from their Creator God and are in need of salvation.
We believe the gospel is the good news of the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose life and work reconciles us back to relationship with God that was severed because of the Fall. We believe Jesus lived the life we should've lived, died the death we should've died, and rose again in victory over sin and death and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, interceding on the Church's behalf.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return in power and glory.
We believe salvation is available to anyone who would believe the gospel message, turning from their sinful ways towards faith and submitting their lives in allegiance to King Jesus. We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, and in Jesus Christ alone, apart from human merit or works.
We believe the Church is the redeemed people of God sent on mission by Jesus to go and make disciples of all nations. We believe in the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper, both means of grace, the former connected to entering into the new covenant community, the latter with ongoing covenant renewal. We believe in the current indwelling of the Holy Spirit within believers as the down payment of the promised inheritance, equipping believers for ministry, enabling them to experience fullness of life in Christ, and empowering them for participation in God's mission in the world.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all peoples, the saved eternally existing in heaven and the lost eternally existing in hell.
God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family, the basic structure of human society (Genesis 2:24). The Bible recognizes marriage as exclusively the legal union of one man and one woman (Titus 1:6). Therefore, TRIAD holds the biblical belief that marriage can only exist between one male and one female, and thus cannot exist between individuals of the same gender or between more than one man and one woman. The Bible also teaches that legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within the biblical model of marriage. Other sexual activities, such as fornication, adultery, homosexual activity, pornography, and efforts to alter one's biological gender, are sinful and incompatible with Christian behavior (I Cor. 6:9-10; Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:26-27).
