Purpose
Our Vision is to provide all students with a Christ-centered learning experience in which each student (1) develops a meaningful relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as reported by the students themselves; (2) meets or exceeds all current academic standards as indicated by our adopted assessments; and (3) has a fruitful ministry as measured by their testimony.
Mission statement
Our Mission is to engage our students, families and community in a Christ-centered learning environment where high standards and expectations and a commitment to the joyful pursuit of excellence are established. Our intention is to ensure that each student develops a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, acquires the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve academic excellence, and becomes a dedicated servant of the Lord, well equipped to impact this world for His glory.
Statement of faith
We confess the Nicene Creed as the foundation of our core Christian beliefs. This creed expresses the essential truths of our faith, guiding us in our worship and doctrine.
THE NICENE CREED
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, visible and invisible.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only-begotten Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

History
Eastside Christian School was established in 1969 as a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to serving the families of Eastside communities. Over 50 years later, ECS continues to be a place where Christian educators partner together with parents to prepare preschool through eighth grade students for lives of leadership and service.
