Purpose
Mission statement
Preparing young people to live faithfully and fully for God in a rapidly changing world with the ability to understand, evaluate, and transform their world from the foundation of God's unchanging values.
Statement of faith
We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration sovereignly applied by the Holy Spirit and evidenced by a living faith in Christ is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

History
Founded in 1950, Bellevue Christian School was established by brothers Joe and Al Greene. The school's existence today is a testament to God's faithfulness and the strength of their original vision to provide an excellent, Christ-centered education.
The philosophical framework developed by the founders is documented in "Second Sight," by Lowell Hagan. This book outlines our unique approach to Christian education, which continues to be implemented today. All new faculty and staff read the book, and it is also recommended for new families to better understand our distinctive approach to education. "Second Sight" reflects the thoughts and efforts of countless individuals over many years at Bellevue Christian School.
