Statement of faith
Article I - The Scriptures: We believe in the supernatural and plenary, verbal inspiration of the entire Scriptures in their original writings, that they are inerrant and infallible and that their teachings and authority are absolute, supreme, and final (1 Cor. 2:13, 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21)
Article II - The Godhead: We believe in the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all eternal in being, identical in nature, equal in power and glory, and having precisely the same attributes and perfections. We believe God is self-sufficient and is the cause of all things. He relies upon nothing outside Himself to accomplish His will. (Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14; Col. 1:16-17; Rom. 11:36)
Article III - Man's Creation and Fall: We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God but through Adam's sin became alienated from God, acquired a sin nature, and came under the judicial sentence of death (Gen. 1:25-27; Rom 3:22-23; 5:12-21; Eph. 2:1-3, 12)
Article IV - The Person and Work of Jesus Christ: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a propitiatory and substitutionary sacrifice, and that our redemption is made sure to us by His resurrection from the dead in the identical, though glorified, body in which He was crucified. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is now in Heaven exalted at the right hand of God where, as High Priest for his people, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor and Advocate (John 1:1-2; Luke 1:35; Rom. 3:24-25; 1 Peter 1:3-5; Heb. 9:24; 7:25; Rom. 8:34; 1 John1:1-2).
Article V - The Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead, in the present age indwells all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, baptizes them into the Body of Christ and seals them unto the day of redemption, and we believe that every believer is commanded of God to be filled with the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:12-14; Eph. 1:13-14, 5:18-20).
Article VI - Salvation: We believe that salvation is the gift of God offered to man by grace and received solely by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that this faith will manifest itself in works pleasing to God (Eph. 2:8-10; Tit. 2:11-14).
Article VII - The Church: We believe that the Church is the spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons in this age (Eph. 1:22-23, 5:25-27; 1 Cor. 12-12-14).
Article VIII - The Final State: We believe that the condition and retribution of the lost and the salvation and blessedness of the saved are conscious and everlasting (Mark 9:43-48; Rev. 20:15, 22:3-5,11).

History
Founded in 1945, Cannon Beach Conference Center has grown from humble beginnings to its place as one of the premier Christian retreat and conference centers on the West Coast. With a full-time staff of more than sixty, CBCC is committed to providing a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where God's people can find refreshment and renewal.
We are located on the spectacular north Oregon coast, 75 miles northwest of Portland in the beautiful resort town of Cannon Beach, consistently named one of the top ten beaches in the nation.
We are also the location of Ecola Bible College and the Christian Culinary Academy. In recent years, CBCC acquired the Ecola Creek Lodge motel which is open to the public for short term vacation stays.
Program accomplishments
We offer an exciting year-round program of Christ-centered family and adult conferences and programs for all ages! Our summer family conferences have been a popular vacation destination for decades!
In addition to our conferences, we host over 130 Christian retreat groups each year including numerous churches and parachurch organizations.
