Summary
Family Stations, Inc. (dba Family Radio) is a teaching organization primarily via radio, shortwave, satellite and Internet.
As part of its teaching by Harold Camping, it has had numerous false predictions. Two prominent rapture dates that have come and gone were May 21, 2011 and October 21, 2011.
The plain meaning of Scripture is that no one knows specific rapture or judgment dates, but the Father God (Acts 1:7; Mark 13:32-37; Matt. 24:36-44). In all cases, prophecy must meet the standard of Scripture (1 Samuel 3:19-21). It must be accurate, and it must accord with other Scripture. If prophetic claims are not accurate, it is, by Biblical definition, a false prophet. Harold Camping would do well to heed the warning in Deuteronomy 13:1-5 and humbly submit to the profitable reproof of Scripture.

Purpose
Family Stations, Inc. (dba Family Radio) is a teachng organization primarily via radio, shortwave, satellite and Internet.
The desire of Family Radio is to preach and teach from the Bible.
Mission statement
Family Stations uses the following to express its mission:
Family Radio is thoroughly committed to the Person and salvation work of Jesus Christ as revealed in God's divine, infallible word, the Bible.
Family Radio's board of directors and staff, are thoroughly persuaded, by our obedience to God's word, that He has established this ministry for the sole purpose of using all its energy and resources to:
proclaim the true Gospel to all nations around the world and accurately teach the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Statement of faith
Family Radio holds to the following Biblical standards:
1. The Bible alone, and in its entirety, is the Word of God: The Bible alone and in its
entirety is God's revelation to mankind. Genesis 1 verse 1 to Revelation chapter 22 verse 21
is the complete and entire articulated Word from God.
The Bible is the ultimate and final authority from which God instructs, corrects and reproves
mankind. No further written, verbal or inspired additions to the original 66 books of the
Bible are to be considered inspired, reliable or authoritative.
2. Faith to believe comes through the hearing of the Word of God: God's Spirit works
through our hearing the Gospel, which at essence is the Word of God:
So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure,
making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7
3. The Five Solas: All on air comments, devotionals, articles, or written publications
produced by Family Radio strive to reflect the following five Biblical principles known as the Five Solas:
a. Sola Scriptura ("Scripture alone"): The Bible alone is our highest authority.
b. Sola Fide ("faith alone"): We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
c. Sola Gratia ("grace alone"): We are saved by the grace of God alone.
d. Solus Christus ("Christ alone"): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior, and King.
e. Soli Deo Gloria ("to the glory of God alone"): We live for the glory of God alone.
4. The Trinity: Family Radio holds to the truth that God is One God, but three persons, the
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
5. The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the faithful teacher who leads every child of God into
all truth. He dwells within each member of the body of Christ and guides and protects them
from every false way.
6. Use of the King James and English Standard Versions of the Bible: Family Radio
utilizes two translations for all over the air and written materials, the Authorized King James
and English Standard Versions.
7. The Church: Family Radio is not a church, rather an integral resource partner of local
churches and Pastors. Family Radio endeavors to help and encourage Pastors and teachers
as they lead and protect the body of Christ.

History
Family Radio was organized in 1958 under its official name, Family Stations Inc., and began to broadcast February 4, 1959, over radio station KEAR FM in San Francisco CA. Since then, God has enabled the ministry to build a number of powerful AM and FM stations around the world and several smaller educational facilities and translators. Family Radio also shares programming with local TV Stations in New Newark, NJ (channel 66) and San Francisco, CA (channel 64). Today, with the use of modern technology, God has opened the door to broadcast the Gospel, via Satellite and Internet , around the clock and around the world.
