Summary
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up primarily of Jewish people, as well as other followers of Jesus who are committed allies of the Jewish people. Our staff promote Jewish faith in Jesus, facilitate Jewish community, and provide local services.
Our staff come from diverse Jewish backgrounds-some were raised Orthodox Jewish, some nominally Jewish. We're artists, parents, doctors, and former IDF soldiers. But we have one thing in common: we all believe Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah our prophets foretold.

Purpose
We are relentless in our pursuit of God's plan because God has relentlessly pursued us with His love in Messiah. He does not give up on us and, by His grace, we will not give up on those He has called us to reach.
At Jews for Jesus, passion for the lost, teamwork, and dedication define our ministry, our administration, and our leadership-these core values are our organization's DNA.
Mission statement
We relentlessly pursue God's plan for the salvation of the Jewish people.
Statement of faith
The Scriptures
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are divinely inspired, verbally and completely inerrant in the original writings and of supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and life. We recognize the value of traditional Jewish literature, but only where it is supported by or conformable to the Word of God. We regard it as in no way binding upon life or faith.
The Nature of God
We believe in one sovereign God, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, unbounded in power and measureless in love; that God is the source of all creation and that through the immediate exercise of His power all things came into being.
The Father
We believe that God the Father is the author of eternal salvation, having loved the world and given His Son for its redemption.
The Son
We believe that Jesus the Messiah was eternally pre-existent and is co-equal with God the Father; that He took on Himself the nature of man through the virgin birth so that He possesses both divine and human natures. We believe in His sinless life and perfect obedience to the Law; in His atoning death, burial, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, high-priestly intercession and His personal return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son; that He was active in the creation of all things and continues to be so in providence; that He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, and that He regenerates, sanctifies, baptizes, indwells, seals, illumines, guides and bestows His gifts upon all believers.
Mankind
We believe that God created man in His image; that because of the disobedience of our first parents at the Garden of Eden they lost their innocence and both they and their descendants, separated from God, suffer physical and spiritual death and that all human beings, with the exception of Jesus the Messiah, are sinners by nature and practice. We believe that Jesus the Messiah died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; that all who believe in Him are justified, not by any works of righteousness they have done, but by His perfect righteousness and atoning blood and that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.
Israel
We believe that Israel exists as a covenant people through whom God continues to accomplish His purposes and that the Church is an elect people in accordance with the New Covenant, comprising both Jews and Gentiles who acknowledge Jesus as Messiah and Redeemer. We believe that Jesus the Messiah will return personally in order to consummate the prophesied purposes concerning His kingdom.
The Resurrection
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.

Response from ministry
PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING TO BETTER UNDERSTAND OUR 2-STAR RATING. In 2015, in an effort to become more efficient in operations, we closed down our printing and warehouse departments, outsourced the functions, and sold the building. As is our policy, the proceeds from the sale of the building were treated as a capital asset, not a part of ordinary operations, and were invested. Earnings from the investment are used to fund major repairs and improvements to other ministry properties and are available to help purchase an alternative facility should we need to in the future. By holding the proceeds of the sale as an investment rather than spending it immediately, our rating by Ministry Watch's calculations was lowered to two stars. (In recent years, we've been cited by Ministry Watch as a Shining Star ministry.) It is our opinion that this formula distorts what really happened. We have streamlined our operations and found ways to become more efficient--not less efficient as the lowered rating might suggest. Please take this into account as you consider support for our ministry. If you have any questions at all, we encourage you to give us a call toll-free at (800) 366-5521. We'd be happy to talk with you.

History
In the 1960s, most of the resources available for Jewish outreach were outdated and only engaged a small segment of the community. Moishe Rosen sought to change that, and his efforts caught the attention of the media. "Jews for Jesus" began as a slogan coined by the media, but it soon turned into the rallying cry of a movement. By 1973, Rosen made it the name of our 501(c)3 organization.
The concept wasn't new-after all, Jewish people had been believing in Jesus since, well, Jesus! But this small cadre of Jewish men and women was so passionate about the life-altering hope they'd discovered in Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, that they began employing new and creative ways to share the news on the streets and college campuses of San Francisco.
Our organization has since expanded globally and now operates in more than a dozen cities around the world. Jews for Jesus was founded to innovate new approaches to effectively engage Jewish people with the Jewish Messiah, and that same passion and dedication that ignited us then still drives us today; the methods may change, but the message does not.
