History
Vacaville Christian School opened in September 1975 with one set of buildings, a handful of families, a few acres of land, and 35 students. From the start, we employed people who cared about each other and our children. This core group set the course for VCS, by defining our mission, vision, and values.
Today, we reap the rewards of their choices. VCS owns over 26 acres, enrolls approximately 800 students, and maintains a nine million dollar budget. Our high school building includes state-of-the-art classrooms, three science labs with college level equipment, a 32-unit computer lab, a media-technology center, an art studio, a radio/TV station, a multi-purpose facility, a band rehearsal room with three practice studios, and a fully staffed kitchen. Our elementary department is proud to have a music room, computer lab, STEM makerspace, art studio, library, and family garden. Our early education department offers preschool and kindergarten readiness programs. Our athletic facilities include football and soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, a full-court basketball gymnasium, a second full-size basketball court, a weight room, and spacious locker rooms. VCS is a vibrant, caring community, and we're eager to see what the Lord has in store for us next. As we are faithful with what God has given us, we know that the future holds limitless possibilities.
