Statement of faith
We believe in:
- The absolute inerrancy, verbal inspiration and plenary authority of both the Old Testament and New Testament of the Holy Bible, which was designed for our practical instruction.
- The Godhead eternally exists in three persons-the Father, the Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit - these three are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections, and worthy of precisely the same homage, confidence and obedience.
- The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miaracles, in His vicarious death and remittance through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and Glory to establish His Kingdom.
- The total depravity of man, as a consequence, of his sin or fallen nature, he lost his spiritual life and became subject to the power of the Devil. Every child since Adam is born into the world with a nature essentially that is sinful, apart from divine grace and mercy.
- The Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, regenerates, indwells, enlightens and guides the believer.
- The unity of believers, who are united to the risen and ascended Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ and who are members of the church which is the body and bride of Jesus Christ. By the same Holy Spirit all believers are baptized into one body that is Jesus Christ's and having become members one of another, are under solemn duty to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, rising above all sectarian differences, and loving one another with a pure Christ-like heart & 'agage' love fervently.
- The explicit message of our Lord Jesus Christ is to those whom He saved, that they are sent forth by Him into a fallen and sinful world as He was sent forth of His Father into this world. They are divinely reckoned to be related to this world as strangers and pilgrims, ambassadors with a life of separation from all worldly and sinful practices, and that their primary purpose in life should be to make Jesus Christ and His eternal message known to the world by words and deeds.
